YouTube Movies Expands, Now Streaming Films In Canada

YouTube Movies has expanded to the Great White North...I wonder if they're offering films like Strange Brew and Canadian Bacon with John Candy? Nah, they probably want to put their best foot forward. And while I like Bob and Doug McKenzie, I just don't see them being the kind of fare that our northerly friends are interested in.
According to the YouTube blog, over 1,000 full-length features have crossed the border and are available at youtube.ca/movies. Both Canadian and Hollywood films as well as global blockbusters are available.

New releases for YouTube Movies in Canada are $4.99 while standard titles will cost $3.99.
Several Canadian films are only available there and include; Daydream Nation, Manufactured Landscapes and Hobo with a Shotgun.
Along with the films themselves, Canadians can also enjoy all the extras on top like free behind-the-scenes videos, cast interviews, parodies, clips and remixes from YouTube's unique community of content creators.
Welcome to the party, see you soon, eh?
