Youtube is the Size of the History Channel on Cable TV

Well, the 2008 Video Search Summit was a great event. We will be featuring videos and interviews in the coming days as ReelSEO and Videoagency covered the event together. However, I thought that this particular clip from the keynote address, given by Stephen Chao, CEO of WonderHowTo, was very interesting. Stephen compares Nielson ratings for cable shows with the size of Youtube to make the point that the amount of video available online at this point in time, is miniscule in comparison to what will inevitably be the case in the future.

I apologize in advance for the lousy quality as this was taken with a small camcorder. Next week, we will have several videos with excellent quality for you to enjoy. Stay tuned for more.
