It looks like video in search ads are here to stay.
I saw an interesting post on searchengineland. It looks like Yahoo, like Google, is starting to display video ads in their search results, in particular, for "partner results" which is part of their Yahoo sponsored search program.
As the post points out, it is a bit odd in that there is no click-through on the video to Honda's site. Once the video is done playing, your choices are to close or replay the video only.
If you search for "shop honda" on Yahoo, you will see the following "partner results" search ad:
