5 Best Branded Vines of the Week: 9th April 2014

Unless you have been hiding under a rock, you can't have missed the fact that 'Game of Thrones' is back for its fourth season, and, frankly, we'd have been a little disappointed if a big brand hadn't acknowledged this momentous occasion. Luckily, Oreo was right on schedule with a Vine that celebrates all things Westeros. We bow down to their creativity. Two charities took to the platform to promote their campaigns, and Samsung Mobile satisfy our need for a fortune cookie fix. H/T to our friends at Unruly for the suggestions.

Best Branded Vines of the Last 7 Days

#1 Oreo

All applause to the Oreo marketing team who have taken full advantage of another top trending event and created an excellent 6 second video around it. The new series of 'Game of Thrones' made its debut on Sunday, so of course Oreo got in on the action.

#2 Children in Need

The British charity, Children in Need will soon be holding its annual telethon, and here's mascot Pudsey Bear creating his very own car out of Lego as part of the fundraiser. We can expect a lot more Vines in the run up to the event.

#3 NSPCC

Another British charity, the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, took to Vine to tackle a very sensitive subject. They want parents and guardians to teach their children about the 'Underwear Rule', a campaign that has been created to protect youngsters from abuse. More information is available from the charity's information page.

#4 SamsungMobile

On a lighter note, who doesn't look forward to opening up their fortune cookie message, eh? Samsung Mobile don't want you wait, it is giving you the chance to pick one right now in this week's Vine offering. I got "Go for it, today is your lucky day!. Thank you fortune cookie!

#5 Spotify

Another excellent Vine offering from Pinot, this time for online music streaming service Spotify. It wants users to show it how they use music to express how they feel, and will re-vine any that use the hashtag #NowFeeling in their caption. While we've got Spotify's attention - your new app upgrade is the worst, almost unworkable on iOS, please fix asap!!!
