5 Best Branded Vines of the Week: 7th May 2014

If you have a social media account, or are friends with anyone that has seen the movie, then the chances are that you heard someone say 'May the 4th be with you' on Monday were probably pretty high. This year, Star Wars itself took to Vine to wish the world the same thing, complete with hilarious low-tech visuals and audio. Elsewhere, Lowes and The Home Depot continue to push the gardening/DIY message, Kobe Bryant did something incredible with a basketball, and Oreo turned the world on its head with its optical illusion. Enjoy!

Best Branded Vines of the Week

#1 Star Wars

It's been something of a tradition for years to wish someone that the Force may be with them on...May 4th. Star Wars itself joined in this year with this very silly but neat Vine. Highlight: kazoo-like vocals.

#2 Lowes

Sometimes the best tips are also the most simplest. I've never done a days gardening in my life but if I did, then using this plank of wood tick would be at the top of my list.

#3 The Home Depot

Of course, if gardening isn't your thing then you might find yourself having more fun in the kitchen, with a mini garden. Even the least green-fingered person should be able to cope with growing a few herbs, and as any cook knows, there is nothing quite like the taste of fresh herbs when you're rustling up a good meal.

#4 Oreo

Oh Oreo, you never disappoint. I'm a little disappointed that its best image of the week wasn't turned into a video, but this one is nearly as good.

#5 Nike

We know that Kobe Bryant is a wizard-genius with a basketball, but even we are impressed with his skills on this Vine for the Nike Magista.
