6 Best Branded Vines of the Week: 23rd April 2014

Vine is over a year old, so you'd think that most big brands would have been active on it for some time, yes? Well, no actually, we're still seeing some reluctance to embrace the medium from some marketing departments/higher-ups who are yet to be convinced. However, eBay is slowly dipping its foot in the Vine water and we love its newest upload. Elsewhere, Ford Mustang takes us on a 'mini' trip around San Francisco, Dunkin Donuts overloads us with sugar in the form of Easter Peeps, Hewlett-Packard puts its money where its mouth is for Earth Day, and Samsung Camera do a lovely thing with a train.

Best Branded Vines of the Week

#1 Ford Mustang

Vineographer extraordinaire Ian Padgham, lends his skill to this neat little Vine for Ford Mustang. He takes the classic car out for a spin around San Francisco, but saves money on gas by doing it all in miniature.

#2 Hewlett-Packard

Hewlett-Packard celebrated #earthday by confirming that they had recycled 2 billion water bottles into ink cartridges. And who are we to argue?

#3 Lowes

The #lowesfixinsix campaign is an excellent way for the DIY chain to create useful, shareable content around their core brand. I'm a sucker for tips so loved this one, although I would have made the well at the bottom of that holder much deeper so the paint goes further #reelseoheretohelp

#4 eBay

eBay aren't the most prolific of Vine posters (this is only its third upload) but we like this little stop-motion clip where modernity meets old-timey.

#5 Dunkin Donuts

We haven't had an Easter Vine yet so let's slip this one in from Dunkin Donuts who debuted the completely unofficial Peeps flavored sugary snack. My teeth hurt just looking at it.

#6 Samsung Camera

The narrative that accompanies this Vine from Samsung Camera states that "With its Tiltable EVF, the #NX30 helps you stay on track without bending over backwards". I have no idea what that means but look at the little train!!!
