Aside from Valentines, no other day is guaranteed to make the florists' cash registers sing more than Mother's Day. Of course, an enormous bunch of flowers is a wonderful thing, but as Dunkin' Donuts demonstrate in their Vine video, a small bouquet, given with love, can sometimes mean even more. In our pick of some of the other best branded Vines of the past seven days, The Home Depot springs into spring, literally, Nokia reminds us just how great/annoying the 3310 ringtone was, Nike tricks us with an optical illusion and Coca Cola shows us the future of the soda pop vending machine.
Best Branded Vines of the Week
#1 Dunkin' Donuts
Flowers are wonderful things and there can't have been many mothers that didn't receive at least one for Mother's Day this past Sunday. You don't need to spend a fortune on a big bunch when it's the thought that counts. Of course, flowers and donuts are even better....
#2 Nike Football
Nike continues to innovate on Vine with their video campaign for its #Mercurial range. You can just about see the join here - but only just. Very nice work.
#3 The Home Depot
Spring has finally sprung (geddit?) and The Home Depot take the theme literally with this amusing 6-second stop-motion clip.
Coke is really pushing the app for its new Freestyle vending machine, so its no surprise that its turned to Vine to promote the message even further. The Freestyle promises to dispense around 100 different variations of your favorite soda and its coming to a location near you soon, according to the soft drinks giant.
If you don't usually have the audio turned on when watching a Vine, do it for this one for a guaranteed wave of nostalgia. The Nokia 3310 was the gateway phone for a generation, and although it seems beyond basic compared to the S5 or iPhone, it still holds a special appeal for many.
