VidShadow Gets Funnier With National Lampoon
VidShadow, Inc., one of the web's fastest growing online video networks, today announced an agreement with National Lampoon (AMEX:NLN) to syndicate programs from National Lampoon's library of premium content offerings across the VidShadow network. The announcement was made by VidShadow founder and CEO Jordan Hudgens and Daniel Laikin, National Lampoon's president and CEO.
VidShadow now possesses best-in-class technology and content giving it a competitive advantage over other players in the space.
"In order to maximize the millions of eyeballs which our affiliate sites receive, we need to better engage viewers at the point of contact," said Hudgens. "Working with National Lampoon and tapping into their tremendous content creation abilities and extraordinarily valuable brand, we expect to dramatically increase affiliate site stickiness and attract major advertisers looking to reach consumers through broadband video.”
"We are excited about working with VidShadow and the opportunity to expand our audience reach through their robust network of sites," said Laikin. "This is a perfect example of how National Lampoon is embracing the opportunities provided by digital media, generating real revenues and viewers.”
With thousands of affiliate sites in VidShadow's syndication network, Hudgens noted, the National Lampoon content will provide a valuable fill for brand advertisers.
The National Lampoon partnership comes on the heels of the announcement of Sushee's (SSEE) acquirement of VidShadow.
