    Great video Mark. For all of you WordPress users, the "Google XML Sitemap for Videos" plugin does a great job creating video sitemaps for you.

      The plugin states that it indexes YouTube content. I was under the impression the Google ignored stuff that wasn't self hosed....

        Dana,

        You are correct. Even though it might make a sitemap, it doesnt mean it
        works to get videos indexed. Unfortunately, that plugin doesnt work as you
        pointed out.

        I am a bit surprised. After submitting my video sitemap (created by
        this plugin), Google reported that majority of my YouTube videos are
        indeed indexed....but I still can't confirm that the are actually
        coming up in Google search results.

    Thanks Mark, ... "...the magic happens"... except for us that post our videos to YouTube, right? We have to figure out another way.

    But as you have said before, Post & Host, do them both (hey that almost rhymes) - Woof!!
