    it's a search engine for video content that pulls from many different sources. There is a lot of content indexed from youtube, metacafe, gofish, google video etc. Very fast search process, relevant results. Most popular & commented videos and many more features. Worth checking out.
  • Obviously this post is old, but VideoSurf has an API. VideoSurf's APIs allow you to search and display their index of billions of moments, along with their unique computer vision features, on your own website.

    Highlights Include:

    * Intelligently selected thumbnail images as well as a full visual summary of each video, titles, descriptions, related tags, related topics, and more.
    * Ability to refine result sets by characters that appeared in the videos (e.g. find the episode of Friends where Brad Pitt guest starred)
    * Include/exclude results by video provider (e.g. filter out Youtube videos or only show Comedy Central videos).
    * Ability to refine results by content type (e.g. show only Full TV Episodes or exclude slideshows)
