So for the Dog who doesn't quite get it... Is this a list of places where I can spend money to have people make my Video (which is an ad) show up online in various places, so it does the "Ad thing" for me?

      yup, meow

    Hey Mark,

Great Article!! I'm just a solo business that does video marketing for local businesses. We create online ads, but have only done the seo side, where we distribute the video to places like youtube so we can get traffic back to the site and also get the link back.

I never really looked into distributing using ad networks and it looks like you can really target in your audience and have your video play on specific sites. That sounds huge.

This list is also huge. Never really thought there were so many networks out there.

Do you suggest using one or many? I mean if I have clients would I just pick out one from the list or sign up and distribute their videos to as many networks as possible?

    Thanks,

    Preston Rahn

Great List. I came across a great one. I think its the future of video advertising. WowYow - http://wowyow.com  Any thoughts?

  • Bbank

Great List Mark. Is there a way to divide video networks into sub-categories? All networks don't offer the same solutions. Some video vendors offer just pre-roll, others offer specific content, and others are display networks that use other video only networks and call them selves video networks?

How do I cut through the noise?

    Thanks,

A friendly suggestion: could you include the publishing date on your blog? That way people can have a better understanding of the context.

    • http://www.reelseo.com/ Mark Robertson

Thanks for the comment. We actually do have the dates but they're at the bottom of the articles. So, Im guessing you'd recommend we put that at the top of the articles?

  • roxikei

Hi Mark - here's one to add in your next update: PK4 Media, a video ad network with an ad-supported content syndication platform, the patent-pending Bishop Video Platform. ;)

And are you a network whereby any advertiser can leverage your network
without taking you up on the creative aspect? bTW, I met some folks
at Touchstorm once, they were great but I never heard back from them
    ;-)
