As you may have heard the popular site podzinger.com was renamed to everyzing.com several months ago. Similar to Blinkx.com, this company is a speech-to-text search technology company (known to be heavily funded with national security $$). The company has had experience in indexing podcasts and most recently has been focused on the indexing of online video content. EveryZing plans to enable video search functionality to content publishers as a white box solution.
In a recent interview with Beet.TV, EveryZing's CEO Tom Wilde discusses how online video search and Universal Search make it more crucial for publishers and content producers to utilize multimedia.
