TumTiki Launches TikiGuide’s Video Countdown To Christmas

Last month, Chris Atkinson reported that Frontier Communications (NYSE: FTR), one of the nation's largest providers of telecommunications services, was creating TumTiki.  I was getting ready for SES Chicago, so I didn't get a chance to check out the largest online library of premium TV episodes, movies, local content, professionally-produced clips, and web original series until this past weekend.

Hold the phone, Mabel!  (TumTiki was created and is operated by Frontier Communications (NYSE: FTR), one of the nation's largest providers of telecommunications services.)

TumTiki features more than 700,000 free TV episodes, movies, original web series, professionally-produced clips, and local programming directly within TumTiki.com, without redirecting to another site; and premium movies and episodes for rental through a partnership with Amazon.com.

And on Friday, TumTiki launched TikiGuide's Countdown to Christmas.

This isn't just another holiday viewing guide.  And TikiGuide's Countdown to Christmas does more than just give you a list.  When you see something on the list you like, you don't have to search the Internet to find the titles you want to watch. TumTiki has done the searching for you, with most of the titles being available for immediate streaming at TumTiki.com.

Beginning three days ago and continuing through December 25, TumTiki will be sharing the best holiday videos in a variety of categories.

Looking for something to get the whole family in the spirit?  A classic from your childhood?  Date night in?  They've got it all.  A new list every day.

Remember, these aren't just lists.  Click on the title of your choice to watch the film.  Many are free and others can be rented through Amazon.com

So, you can avoid being a Scrooge or a Grinch even if your stocking is full of coal, your kids give you another Popsicle stick frame, and you're spending the day with your in-laws.

Moving forward, TikiGuide plans to regularly share lists of favorite videos — it might be a list of the best of the month, or a list of the best Mob movies.

And if you don't celebrate Christmas, you can always watch "Jimmy Kimmel Live: The Deal with Kwanzaa and Hanukkah!

Or, you can watch a web original like, "How to Celebrate Festivus.”

Whatever you do, check out TumTiki.  Oh, and don't thank me.  Thank Chris Atkinson.  He started it.
