TubeMogul Goes Professional - New Premium Products

TubeMogul Goes Professional New Premium Products

TubeMogul, the online video distribution and analytics company, today introduced Premium Products -- new services for professional publishers, advertisers and marketers, featuring powerful tools to promote web videos and measure audiences.

Premium Products comprise advanced data analytics, demographic and geographic reporting, video transcoding, scheduled video deployment, multi- campaign functionality, and reports that aggregate viewership information based on keywords.

Nicholas Robinson of Michael Eisner's new media production company, Vuguru, said TubeMogul's Premium Products provide the most advanced single source of metrics on where, when, and how often videos are viewed on the Web today. "TubeMogul is the killer app for the backend of online video. There's nothing even close," said Robinson.

Additional beta users of TubeMogul's Premium Products include CBS Interactive, Next New Networks, and leading advertising agencies representing top brands in media, technology, and consumer products.

Founded in November 2006 by online video buffs who met in graduate school at UC Berkeley, TubeMogul first introduced free services that aggregate video- viewing data from the top sharing sites to give video creators improved understanding of when, where and how often videos are watched, track and compare what's hot and what's not, measure the impact of marketing campaigns, gather competitive intelligence, and share the data with colleagues.

Analytics were followed in July 2007 by its acclaimed Load & Track -- also free -- which allows video publishers to upload videos once to TubeMogul and select where they want their videos deployed.

"Our free services proved there was a real need for distribution and analytics," said Brett Wilson, TubeMogul's co-founder and CEO. "With our Premium Products we address a much wider and lucrative market."

TubeMogul Premium Products are available immediately and ranges in price, starting at $500 per month.

New features added today to TubeMogul's free services include:

  • Video promotion - now includes social bookmarking and news recommendation sites
  • Thumbnail assist -- creators can select video thumbnail for sites that allow choice
  • Comment manager -- lets users read comments by site
  • Large file support -- allows distribution of videos larger than 100 MB
  • Video transcoding -- submit flash files to optimize quality
