BrightCove Video Hosting Platform

I am not sure why but it is a pain in the ass to find the URLs for the various video search and video sharing websites where you can upload your video and/or submit your video RSS and/or MRSS feeds. So, I spent some time online looking at the various sites to find these submission URLs.

If anyone has links to additional ones that I am missing, please add below in the comments.

Other Ways to get your Videos On Video Search & Sharing Sites

  • Miro – Miro converts any media RSS feed into a channel.
  • Video Upload Pro – Software to submit your videos to multiple video sites including Atom Films, Blip.tv, BoFunk, Bolt, ClipShack, EvideoShare, Flurl, Google Video, Guba, Jumpcut, Live Video, Myspace Video, PutFile, Veoh, Vimeo, Yahoo Video, Youtube, and more….
  • HeySpread – Free online tool to send videos to multiple sites
  • TubeMogul
    • TubeMogul is the hands down the best free tool to submit videos to multiple video sharing sites in one go. Currently supporting Metacafe, MySpace, Yahoo, Revver, AOL Video, DailyMotion, Blip, and BrightCove, TubeMogul does a great job at syndicating your videos out to these video sharing sites with full support for Titles, Tags, and Descriptions and provides analytics for you to track your video views across all of these websites. I highly recommend this free tool.
    • Brett Wilson, CEO of Tube Mogul, demonstrates how his tool lets you upload and track videos to several different sites like Blip.tv and YouTube.

  • Nice list, it's hard to find sites that accept video rss feeds.
  • Hi Mark,
Your post is very useful ... I've tried what you recommend to promote my vids...

    Thanks again
  • This article couldn't have come at a better time for me! I recently decided to give internet marketing a try and started promoting this adult network marketing opportunity. After doing some research and thinking about what I like to do when surfing the net I decided that I wanted to try my hand at video marketing. It took a couple days of learning Photoshop and Camtasia but yesterday I finally put together my first video production (go me!). ____Once I finished the video I uploaded it to YouTube and called it a day. This morning however I came across an article on the WarriorForum posing the question about how to get more exposure for one of the members YouTube videos...in that thread someone had mentioned submission of the YouTube RSS feed to video feed sites. My research landed me here!____The question I have...if someone can answer it...once a feed is submitted does it have to be resubmitted every time a new video gets uploaded or will the site crawl the submitted feeds periodically?
  • That is a good question.... I should clarify the post but if you are actually using Youtube for your videos, most, if not all of these sites already crawl and index Youtube Videos. Therefore, you may not need to submit MRSS sitemaps to the sites. Are you trying to get your URL for your own site indexed as the one with the video or does it matter that Youtube would be the destination?
  • I am pretty new to all of this...I assume I would want to get my site indexed for the video and not YouTube...the problem is I don't know how to create a video only feed from my site...I made a video page put the feed is pulling video AND audio (has to do with the plugin I am using I think).
  • I believe that you stated that you were hosting the videos using Youtube. I should write a post on this to help clarify to folks - However, submitting a sitemap for videos that are hosted with Youtube will not work. Youtube is the destination and Google knows that. They will not show your site with the videos in universal.
  • Great post, have submitted my links to all rss feeds sites.

    Thank you

  • Ahh, thank you for this list! No more doing a million searches trying to find this information again. Kudos!
  • i submit video to vidmetrix , i'm checking in metacafe and can't find my video ...i don't know if it work
  • I tried most of site are very usefull which helps more in optimization your videos online .. Distribute your article at one click...
