Today the main sponsor of the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) bill announced it is being shelved. The bill had triggered fierce nationwide protests, website blackouts, and the pullback of Congressional support. Here's a video series just from the past couple days of some of the most entertaining and informative videos on SOPA that are worth watching.

SOPA & PIPA Postponed!

Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Tex.), author of the Stop Online Privacy Act, said on Friday that he is postponing consideration of the bill in response to concerns from critics who said the bill could lead to censorship. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has also postponed next week's vote on PIPA, SOPA's sister bill in the Senate. You can read more at the Washington Post website about how this all came about.
