Shufflr Wants to be Your Daily iPad Video Fix Curation App, Forgets to Give You Input?

Shufflr is the latest app to want to be your choice for video curation. They say that their patent pending algorithm takes into account social signals to create a daily 'must watch' playlist for iPad users.

I haven't got an iPad, they're too hip and expensive for a poor freelancer like me, so I haven't been able to test this out, but it seems interesting and thought some of you might be interested in checking it out and letting me know what you think.
The Shufflr iPad app is said to be a discovery service for online video they might like to watch anytime and anywhere. According to the release today:
Shufflr takes a unique (patent pending) approach of combining social signals with algorithms, creating a ‘Daily Fix’ of videos for a personalized TV like experience to its users.
They've also got apps for iPhone, Android and Facebook. So I headed to Facebook to test it and... it offered be Justin Timberlake, Beiber and a whole lot of crap I was not at all interested. There's no way to tell it that you don't like a specific video as you can only like or queue something as well as share it. Personally, I don't see this being my Daily Fix.
It seems to me that while they are focusing on social signals they are totally ignoring the actual user's signals and not allowing us to have our say in what videos they try to feed us on a daily basis. Seems like it's definitely lacking even though they say something like over 3 million installs and users in 160 countries.
