SanDisk Wants You To Make Mobile VideoProving that their storage cards can stand up to the pressure of performing when dealing with video, Sandisk has unveiled their "60-second Mobile Phone Video Summer Contest".

The contest began on the 6th of July and runs through the end of August. They will be offering weekly prizes and a final grand prize. You must be 18 to enter, live in the US and have a video-capable mobile phone along with a YouTube account.

There will be 25 weekly prizes and one Grand Prize winner from all previous winners. The Grand Prize is a check for $5,000, while the Weekly Prizes (25): will each include one (1) 16GB SanDisk microSD Memory Card (ARV $108.99), one (1) MobileMate Micro reader (ARV $9.99), and one (1) Contest T-Shirt (ARV $9.99). Total of 125 Weekly Prizes for the duration of the Contest.

First Place Weekly Prize (5): a check for $1,000.

To enter, use a video capable mobile phone to create and submit an original video no longer than 1 minute in length that captures your spontaneous summer moments. "Video Submission" is a YouTube video file submission that follows the technical, creative, and legal requirements. Video Submission(s) may be submitted anytime during any Weekly Open Call For Entries at www.youtube.com/sandisk. Follow instructions to upload Video Submission(s) from your YouTube member account.

Just another way to show the rapid expansion and acceptance of online video as well as a unique way to market both their product and brand through the use of online video.
