New Report – Ad Spending Trends in Search

Emarketer released a new report today titled, “Search Engine Marketing:ser and Spending Trends” which details and tracks the trends that are driving the growing search advertising market.

eMarketer estimates that Google raked in 75% of US paid search advertising in 2007, up from 60% in 2006. Number two, Yahoo!, collected a mere 9% share, while everyone else split 16% of the pie.

Take a look at Video spending. Shows growth from $1.2 Billion to over $5 Billion in 2011.
