Playstation Interactive YouTube Video Could Make You A Winner

Want to get your hands on some unique and rare Playstation memorabilia? If you're a serious gamer then you may be in with a chance after the brand launched a new interactive Easter egg packed YouTube video where viewers can unlock audio tracks and wallpapers amongst other features. There are 35 items to find and players can bid on the costumes featured in the June 10th released 'Greatness Awaits' video by earning trophy points.

Playstation have also gone live with a BidForGreatness.com microsite where gamers can find out more information regarding the one off auction of fantastically rare collectibles. Successful bidders get to walk away with a piece of authentic Playstation history such as the Witch Doctor Cursed Skull from Diablo III or Captain Kenway's outfit from Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag. Given the insane popularity of cosplay, this is a spectacular offer from the brand.

Gamers need to log into bidforgreatness.com using their PSN ID. The site will record your Gold Trophies which you can use to bid on up to 15 items. Be warned though, this really is for serious gamers as the average bid count is around 1000+ gold trophies.

Created by the BBH agency, the campaign is a fantastic way of stretching out existing content, rewarding the dedicated gamer and building further brand loyalty.

Here's the teaser trailer from Playstation:

The online auction is open to those aged 18 and over and based in the U.S. It runs until the 30th July and participants are encouraged to sign in each day to see the new lots on offer.
