Twas the Monday 'fore Thanksgiving and all through the 'Net not a creature was stirring, except industry vets. The turkey was tucked all safe in the fridge, while visions of vacation were seen on the ridge. Alright, I am certainly not a poet that's for sure. It's Monday and that means the slumbering beast that is the video industry has roused from its weekend of rest to begin a week anew. This week, at least for the USA anyway, is a short one because we will be stuffing our faces with turkey and pie and sticking hour upon hour of football in our eye... Still, some interesting stuff popped up on ye olde industry radar today, like Twitch kiboshing the porn and AOL pressing pause on their Live video initiative. The scary news from a consumer standpoint is Comcast & Charter standing at the butcher block drawing dotted lines over the still kicking body of Time Warner Cable. One can't help but wonder what kind of monopoly game they're all playing this holiday season. Meanwhile, people are still pondering the position that PrimeSense puts Apple in and gHacks gives you a couple ways to make your life a bit better.
