Omniture

Web measurement company Omniture launched an enhanced product that will track the activity of video and rich media.

Called SiteCatalyst 14, the new version measures any technology using the Internet including Web sites, IPTV, mobile devices, cable boxes, and game boxes.

“SiteCatalyst 14 has evolved to support these new ways of doing business in the era of rich media as businesses need to better understand their online audiences and more effectively engage with their customers,” Brett Error, chief technology officer and executive vice president of products at Omniture, said in a statement.

SiteCatalyst 14 will also provide Web site operators which videos are most popular, at which point people stopped watching a video, and how quickly a video spreads.

Based in Orem, Utah, Omniture is a software company that measures Web site activity.
