The Week In Online Video News And Views 30th December 2013

Welcome back after a too long/too short Christmas break (delete as applicable). Let's take a look at some of the news stories that squeezed through over the festive season, shall we? With everyone and their dog looking to the New Year as a fresh start, Netflix's latest poll states that 50% of respondents are willing to exercise while binge watching instead of slumping on the sofa. Quite how you work up a sweat to the completely watchable but pretty slow-paced 'House of Cards' is beyond me and evidently most agree as it's the sitcom that wins out as the favorite genre to watch while working out. 36% of those polled chose humor over drama (27%), Sci-Fi/fantasy (24%) or reality shows (20%).

Talking of Netflix, around 20 movies are set to disappear from the site on New Years Day so if you haven't watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Odd Couple or Ronin (featuring the world's best car chase ever) and always wanted to, drop everything and do so before it's too late. These and other stories of the week in online video and cable from ReelSEO.

Tim must be away for the holidays. I can't imagine him referencing a story on porn. Thumbs down!
