I am in the planning stages of a massive project that I can't talk about just yet, but I can say that it was going to include some periodic live streaming. So when I got a note today from DaCast about their upcoming webinar, How To Use DaCast to Monetize Your Event, it piqued my interest.

DaCast is a complete, full featured streaming service that provides everything broadcasters need. After a quick setup, the platform can be easily used to do high quality streaming to monetize video and without having to be locked into any commitments.

After signing up for a free DaCast account, everything is included to allow broadcasters to begin monetizing right out of the box. This includes support for diverse payment options that are handled through merchant account which is included.

There are several ways that you could monetize the live streaming event including pay-per-view, subscriptions, ads, etc. I definitely need to talk with them about my upcoming project I think.
