The M&M Show – Mediaite and Magnify Do Video Together

Magnify.net is a white label video platform, and they’re growing. Pulling in big names like The Weather Channel, Bicycling and New York Magazine has shown they certainly have something to offer. Now, they’ve scored another hit.Mediaite and GossipCop.com have both hopped on board with Magnify to utilize their video technology. According to Dan Abrams’ (owner of the sites) Mediaite covers the universe of media and reports on the goings on therein. Now they themselves are incorporating media into their own mix with new video features.

“Finding content, encouraging user generated videos, organizing it all, and managing the process of aggregation, curation,  and web publishing is a complex effort and we needed to find a best-of-breed solution” said Abrams. “Magnify.net is an extraordinary platform – editorially friendly and technically elegant.  It lets us leverage our knowledge and editorial efforts and add a robust video offering with minimal effort.”

The site will use Magnify.net’s technology which uses video aggregation to collect videos as well as allow for user uploads also includes branding, video ads and content delivery. They state they are currently serving up over 63,000 channels and this week alone (at time of writing) they had ‘magnified’ about 1.9 million videos.

Magnify.net powers publishers, ecommerce companies, and web sites, looking to deploy a Video 2.0 Curation Solution. By offering an integrated video publishing solution, Magnify.net gives online businesses the ability to leverage their knowledge and sector expertise by providing market leading video search, aggregation, and curation technology. Curated video has editorial value and it is this credibility that permits Magnify’s customers to leverage any video content to drive audience engagement, brand awareness and, for media companies and publishing customers, higher advertising revenue.
