MediaMelon Launches New Video Overlay Network (VON)

Even thought HD video is still a ways off in terms of being available to the masses online, strong progress has been made recently by some companies with a goal of efficiently delivering HD video via IP networks to millions of consumers.   MediaMelon is one of these networks who's goal is to improve the efficiency and visual quality of high-definition HD video delivery, at full screen, that can be played and accessed from a web-browser without the need for a desktop application.
