Jerry Seinfeld Drives New Web Series, "Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee"

It looks like Jerry Seinfeld and friends will be trying to offer up a comedy/interview web series later this month, with "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee." We keep seeing bigger and bigger names getting into web video and it's easy to see the appeal: they can be done cheaply, they can be shot your way, and they likely take very little time to do. Plus, when you're Jerry Seinfeld, you can just gather up some of the funniest people in showbiz and take a very simple concept: riding in a car, probably shooting the breeze about all sorts of inane topics, and hopefully making people laugh in the process.

The show is set to debut on July 19 and it's from Crackle. Here's the teaser trailer:
Looks like it has a tremendous list of stars who show up in this: Ricky Gervais, Larry David, Michael Richards, Bob Einstein, Colin Quinn, Alec Baldwin, Brian Regan, and a couple more I can't recognize because it goes by too fast. It definitely has a Curb Your Enthusiasm kind of feel in some scenes, especially with the actors who are coming along.
As for now, it looks like nothing else is being offered in the way of information about the show, other than this teaser. But speculation is that it's some sort of interview show with Seinfeld's classic car collection being thrown in the mix. If it's half as entertaining as that HBO special, "Talking Funny," which had Seinfeld, Gervais, Louis C.K., and Chris Rock talking about the process of comedy, it'll be fun to watch.
