Google Halloween Logo Video Celebrates With Pumpkin Carving

Google has done it again. They've replaced their home page logo with a special Google Doodle logo. Once dominated by images, the specialized Google Doodle logos are more often videos these days. The logos typically involve celebrating or honoring a particular person's memory or a holiday, and today the world is treated–not tricked–to a special Google Halloween logo that plays a fun pumpkin carving video.

When the video is finished playing, the browser redirects to a search results page for the query, "Happy Halloween."

Google's special day-long celebration logos are getting better and better–and I don't think it's insignificant that more and more of them are video-based. In fact, I think it's a pretty big deal.
