Glam Media, Inc., the pioneer of vertical content networks and number one in reach for women online, and Brightcove, the leading global Internet TV platform, today announced a partnership that will enable Brightcove media customers to distribute ad-supported video content to Glam Media's network of more than 64 million monthly uniques. The partnership leverages Glam Media's new flagship service GlamTV, unveiled today in a separate announcement, which allows publishers in the Glam Network to access rights-cleared content and indie videos tightly packaged with brand advertising for their web sites
Brightcove media customers, who represent some of the most highly sought-after premium news and entertainment programming on the Web, will be able to distribute video content to Glam Media's vertical content network of 500+ trusted and influential web sites and blogs. Glam Media's publishers can access premium, rights-cleared content that is tightly packaged with brand advertising. Both Brightcove and Glam Media focus on enabling media companies to control distribution and reach of digital content based on their needs or distribution rights.

GlamTV allows publishers to leverage traditional media and indie videos for their web sites to deepen engagement with online audiences and expand business opportunities. Media companies offering their content at the launch of GlamTV include E! Online, CelebTV, Sony BMG's "MyPlay.com," and TV Guide Broadband. With its focus on brand advertisers, Glam is able to tightly package the content with ads for hyper-targeted audiences using Glam Media's Digital-Primetime(TM) technology. In addition, Glam will also selectively offer the GlamTV Platform as a service to other high quality and targeted vertical network publishers not in the Glam Publisher Network — opening up Glam's highly regarded publisher media services for the first time to independent publishers targeting women.
