FlixWagon First to Bring Live Video to iPhone

Written June 13, 2008 – 10:10 am | by Mark Robertson |

flixwagon_logoFlixwagon, a mobile live video broadcasting platform (sometimes referred to as lifecasting), announced yesterday that using their alpha client they successfully streamed the first-ever high quality video stream from unlocked iPhones to the internet.

They also mentioned that they are doing their best to work with the SDK for iphone in order to offer this functionality once Apple decides to make video a standard part of the iphone. For now, they plan to offer the functionality to all of their alpha testers next month. If you are curious at all what this looks like, they have a neat little video demo with the announcement.
