Google announced that there are 300 million active users of Google + (ok then….) but more importantly, they also confirmed new automatic video editing capabilities for the social network. Users will now be able to turn their footage into small, shareable videos with effects and a choice of soundtrack. The new feature, called 'Auto Awesome' can stabilise film, add filters and identify key scenes. Twitter also confirmed that users of their site will be able to preview video clips in their stream without having to click on them.
