Hiring legendary news anchorman Ron Burgundy to front a series of 70 ads for the Dodge Durango seems to be paying off for the company as sales of the SUV climbed 59% in October and are up 50% for the whole year. Not only are sales up, but web traffic to the Dodge site has increased by 80% since the online campaign launched on October 5th. Only 9 of Burgundy video ads have been released so far but we can expect the rest of them before Anchorman 2 is released at the end of December.
