    We went through a bit of an issue right after we posted the how-to tutorial when YouTube changed the rules a bit, but we tweaked our tutorial and it is all working again as planned. Here is a proof video just uploaded on 3/4/12 showing the trick still works.

    Greg, not likely because many people abuse it by placing in Thumbnails that are unrealted to their video to simply increase the view counts.

    There's another way to do this using Javascript/CSS that requires less work (since you don't have edit the video): http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11995529/youtube-overlay-image-div-autoplay-underneath

    Doesn't work for me :(, when I trimmed the video on you tube it changed the thumbnail, am I doing something wrong?
