I first became aware of Corridor Digital after they did a collaboration with Epic Meal Time and Freddie Wong, and I immediately subscribed after visiting their channel. They have great "video game" style videos, usually action-oriented and filled with cool special effects. Well, today, they may have tapped into something that will give them a crazy crossover hit, something that will reach beyond even their already substantial subscriber base. They just did a cat video. But not an ordinary cat video. It's something that will likely be shared by moms. And when you make a video that is shared by moms, you've got a hit.
Corridor Digital's 'Kitties on the Beat'
Behold the awesomeness that you will want to immediately share (like I did):
It's a simple concept. And brilliant. We see cats chase mundane things all the time, and we laugh because of all the trouble they get into and how funny they look chasing after stuff. But when you turn those same mundane things into "bad guys wearing black ops outfits" then you have something special. These cats are heroes. It's mesmerizing, cool, great, and cute all at the same time. I will not be the least bit shocked if this one gets into the tens of millions before it's all over. It's that kind of video.
Not only that, but they offer a bonus video of outtakes and behind-the-scenes. Corridor Digital outdid themselves here:
These kinds of videos make your day worthwhile.
