Convert 2D Videos To 3D With Added YouTube Creator Tools

YouTube has announced some new creator tools to enhance your video publishing experience. You can now convert 2D videos to 3D with a simple mouse click, use new editing platforms Vlix and Magnisto, and all verified users are now able to upload videos longer than 15 minutes.
Let's break the updates down one at a time:
Convert 2D Videos To 3D
In one single step, you can now make your convert 2D videos to 3D. Of course, not everyone thinks 3D is all it's cracked up to be. But still, this takes a complicated 3D process and dumbs it down to the most basic level. Simply upload a 2D video, and click the conversion button--located in the Edit Info section. And you're done.
Also, your viewers will need to have 3D glasses in order to watch the video--unless they have one of a small number of the latest glasses-free 3D devices.
New Editing Platforms On YouTube
You can now take advantage of two new editing platforms on YouTube, each with their own specialty:
Vlix - "let's you spice up your videos by adding cool effects and text to the video intro and closing."
Here's a video about Vlix:
Magisto - "takes your unedited video and automatically edits it into short, fun clips."
And here's a video about Magisto:
All Verified Users Now Have Time Limit Removed
For many YouTube users, there has long been a 15-minute upload limit on videos, though Partners and select others have been given special exemptions. And now? Well, now everyone can go over the 15 minute threshhold--assuming they are a "verified user in good standing."
If you're not yet verified, you can complete account verification here.
Resumable Uploads
Users can now resume an upload that was started previously, with YouTube remembering where you left off. This is a huge help for anyone who's ever had a system crash or Internet outage in the midst of a video upload--particularly if your standard Internet service is slow.
Wrap-Up
With more and more helpful video tools being created and released every day, it's important for YouTube to continue innovating and expanding their own offerings. With the latest tools and a wide variety of options, users are more likely to continue making YouTube their platform of choice.
