Leading Video Search and Social Media Platforms Join Forces

ClipBlast!, the premier Web-wide video search and discovery platform, today announced its partnership with KickApps, the leading on demand social media platform. KickApps is launching a new feature on its community-building platform Yuku to let members search, play and share video from across the video web using ClipBlast! technology right inside their posts and blogs.

With KickApps' new one-click video embed feature, Yuku members can search and preview video from the ClipBlast! video index, which forms the world's largest video content "library." Members can then embed the searched video directly in their posts and blogs to share with the Yuku community, giving them richer and more creative expression – without having to leave their message to hunt for content.

"Our partnership with ClipBlast! has brought the video web into blogs and message boards as never before," said Alex Blum, KickApps' CEO. "With ClipBlast!'s video search and intelligent indexing capabilities — and our ability to infuse media seamlessly into message boards and blogs — we're making it as easy for users to share video as it is for them to share words and photos.”

"We're delighted to provide Yuku members with an exceptional video experience," said Gary Baker, ClipBlast! founder and CEO. "Yuku members can search the Video Web with ClipBlast!, then preview, post and share videos they're interested in – all within the Yuku environment. Our partnership represents the cutting edge of the new web — where innovative technologies join together via APIs to customize their user experiences on-the-fly. "
