Channing Tatum Becomes A Verb and A Noun [Fun Video Friday]

Another Fun Video Friday is upon us.  This week, it appears most of the scientific YouTube community took the week off, so I'm going to assume that they're all collaborating on something coming soon.  But that doesn't mean we don't have a ton of videos for your weekend aiming to make you laugh, sing, and maybe cry.  This particular roundup today is pretty star-studded.  We have Channing Tatum, Jamie Foxx, Olivia Munn, Miley Cyrus, Michael Cera, Aubrey Plaza and the returning cast of Anchorman 2.

Fun Video Friday, June 21

In this Jimmy Kimmel sketch featuring Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx, who are promoting White House Down, the performers explore what "Channing on Your Tatum" is...which is weird and...maybe sexy?  But mostly amusing:

Michael Cera and Aubrey Plaza star in this tale of...stalking?  Missed opportunity?  It's called "Failure:"

Anchorman 2 looks like it's going to be hilarious. And here's a trailer with some real footage for a change. Too bad the movie doesn't come out until December:

Slackstory wants you to know that movies like to say, "We're Not So Different, You And I" a lot:

Cracked explains that YouTube comments are nothing new, when you compare it to writing on bathroom walls (lots of bleeped language):

John McAfee wants you to know that he doesn't have anything to do with McAfee's antivirus software anymore, but he still reads the complaint mail (some bad language and perhaps adult content):

Here's an awesome summer trick with a bottle of Coca-Cola, turned into a nice slushee as if by magic:

Is Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" the most emulated song of all time...this month?  The musicians of CDZA take a crack at it by getting a bunch of their crew all on one piano:

Dude Perfect is asked to perform some amazing stunts involving basketballs, footballs, and Fiats:

Dogs doing cute things.  I'm not made of stone:

Seriously, I'm not made of stone:

Pleated Jeans has way better names for groups of animals, stuff that rhymes and stuff that strangely, logically makes sense:

The Exploding Heads have some bad British commentary for you during a New York Yankees/Boston Red Sox game:

AVByte does a "Draw My Life..." for Superman:

This is a Lego re-creation of The Wizard of Oz. Complete with a tornado:

The Seattle Public Library wanted people to know about their summer reading program, so they made a video with books substituted for dominoes in a protracted knockdown sequence:

The explosion of the volcano Popocatépetl, in all its time-lapse glory:

Ian Padgham creates an awesome Vine:

As always, have a terrific Friday.
