Celebrate The 4th Of July With Online Video Fireworks

If you're like me, you probably have some kind of cookout scheduled for sometime today. You might even have people coming over. And you probably have plans to take the kids down to the local park for the annual 4th of July fireworks show. But if by chance... you're one of the unlucky few who has to work today... you should still be able to enjoy the spirit of Independence Day. So I've compiled a handful of appropriately themed videos for your viewing enjoyment:
First, we have last night's 4th of July fireworks show at Disney's Magic Kingdom, which looks to have been a pretty impressive show:

How would fireworks look in an online video when the quality was HD? Pretty freaking good, as evidenced by this clip shot last night in Santa Monica:
A few years ago, I saw an impressive fireworks video, and I was able to find it again this morning to share with you. It's a clip of the last 24-inch shell that was legally allowed to be set off in the U.S., and it's very impressive (The clip begins with several other fireworks, and the big boy is the last one they set off):
Of course, 24-inches is nothing in China, where they set off 48-inch shells that look like this:
We have much tighter safety regulations on fireworks than many other countries... unless the police get involved... in which case, they can just stack up piles and piles of the things and then set the whole stack off all at once, like the NYPD recently did with confiscated fireworks:
Happy 4th, everyone. Be safe and have fun.
