12% Of Online Video Views Come From Mobile - Break Media

If one-eighth of your video views are coming from mobile, then you are in good company as Break Media just reported that 12% of their video views come from mobile users. That's a pretty good portion and shows the ever-increasing interest in mobile video viewing.
They also announced that they have passed 1.5 million downloads on their mobile app, so it's no surprise that they're seeing such a large piece of their video views on that screen. The mobile app is available for Android and for iOS and was launched in January 2010--and the iPhone version of the app was just updated on Monday of this week.
In addition to reaching a milestone of downloads this month, Break achieved 10 million monthly mobile visits and an average of 100,000 unique mobile app visits every day. Break's video views on both mobile and CE devices now make up 12 percent of the company's non-advertising video views, up from five percent back in January 2011.
Break now reaches more than 140 million users each month, across multiple platforms, including mobile, the Web, YouTube, OTT platforms, and digital out of home platforms.
Break Media just recently signed on Reveille for content and also has apps for popular platforms like Roku, Boxee, Plex and Samsung TVs.
